He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Vick Jr. and Margie Mangum Vick; his sister Judy Gayle Vick; and his pet Saylor. He is survived by: his sister Vickie Vick Porter (Rick) of Liberty Hill; his nephew Rich Porter of Washington, D. C.; his caregiver Donna "Smurf" McKinnon; his friends, Buck Winchester (Cindy) and Hazel Cauthen (Kay); his stepson Jerimey Holland; his pet Scooter; and his friend Miley. He is also survived by children, his deep affection for his friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 314 Atlantic Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home's Maryville Chapel (2200 S Fraser St, Georgetown, SC 29440).
