With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Cartman of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Yvonne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Yvonne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Novak and Harriet Wherry Novak. She is survived by: her husband Jay Cartman of Murrells Inlet; her son Jeffrey of Surfside Beach; her granddaughter Kayla of Maine; her daughter-in-law Michele of Maine; her brother Dr. William Novak (Nilubon) of Toledo, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Linda DiMisa and Harry DiMisa of Long Island. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
