He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton B. Edwards and Flora Watson Edwards; his wife Faye M. Edwards; and his sons, Mark and Michael.
He is survived by: his sisters, Catherine, Georgie, Helen, Lubert, Nell and Novella; his children, Deborah Edwards Petty (Johnny) of Concord and Christopher Edwards (Genni) of Harrisburg; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Edwards of Fort Mill; his grandchildren, Ben Edwards (Jessica), Angel Faye Edwards, Mark Petty (Ashley), Jennifer Petty (Keshia), Summerlyn Edwards, Rowdy Edwards, Sullivan Edwards and Lilah Edwards; his great grandchildren, Sonja, Emily Alicia and Javy Segoviano; and his sisters, Betty Daniels and Clara Cox. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
