With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amelia Pondozi Starczek in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Capece and Dominick Pondozi; her husband Frank Starczek; and her sisters, Pauline Vanno, Vi Ottaviano and Theresa Derocco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Zaniewski (Richard) and Sandra Frasier; her grandchildren, Robert Collea (Heather) and Dawn Collea; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob Stark and Braden Collea; and her nieces, Joanne Place, Shirley Reese and Joan Guis.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
