She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Clyde Godbold; her mother Nena Mae Carter; her children, Dr. Sarah Godbold-Machowski (Walter Machowski), Cheryl Locke (Michael), Debbie Ropp, Clyde Godbold, Jr. (Wynn) and Walter Godbold (Lisa); her grandchildren, Walter Machowski, III, Dr. Mary Machowski, Katie Machowski, Cherie Cebreiros (Nic Patton), Clay Ropp, Cameron Bayley (Josh), Matthew Godbold (Courtney), Cooper Godbold, Emily Godbold and Ross Godbold; her brother Robert Carter (Jo); and her niece Joyce Bedell (Jim).
