He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard W. Petkis, Sr. and Sophie Petkis (Koharsic); his sister Barbara Petkis Aleksunes; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Greene and Fred R Greene, Jr. (Anne).
He is survived by : his wife Katherine Petkis (Greene); his children, Bernard S Petkis of Windsor, CT and Jennifer Akin (Gary) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Kyle Petkis, Evan Petkis and Jessica Akin; his brother David Petkis (Anita) of Tolland; his nieces, Christine Greene Martineau (Paul), Lauren Goedken (Mike) and Carrie Fox (Jeff); his nephew Jeffrey Greene (Heidi); and also, Sue, Ron Columbus, Kathy and Bernie.
