With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertie Lou Massey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Bertie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bertie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Leilani Paiaina and Joseph Kamai; and her daughter Noynene Kaipolani Massey. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Massey; and her children, Randy Massey, Edwin Massey Jr. (Linda) and Bessie Mae Clements Turner (Steve). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
