She was predeceased by : her parents, George Arnold Brinkley and Ida West Brinkley of Raleigh; and her siblings, Jo-Anne Brinkley, George Brinkley and Bill Brinkley.

She is survived by : her former life partner Arthur T. Westbrook; her daughters, Tina Joy Westbrook and Tisa Katrina Holt; her son-in-law Brian David Holt; and her grandchildren, Tyler Rampazzo, Alexis Holt, Faith Holt and Blake Holt. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
