It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Lazarus of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Schumer and Seymour Shubkin; and her stepfather James D. Hutto. She is survived by: her husband Jacob "Jack" Lazarus; her sons, Mark K. Lazarus (Helen) and Robert M. Lazarus; her grandchildren, Christina L. Watts (Garrett), Charlotte E. Lazarus (Brittain), Jordan M. Lazarus, Jacob Lazarus, II and Ashton A. Lazarus; her great grandchildren, Garrett M. Watts Jr. (Rhett) and Emma Grant Watts; her siblings, Ronald L. Shubkin and Carol I. Shubkin; her nieces, Catherine Shubkin (Steve Chapman) and Teresa Shubkin (Simon Jones); her great-nieces, Ella and Natalie Shubkin; and her goddaughter Zanne Rhodes.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bonnie's honor to Caris Healthcare-Myrtle Beach; 174 Waccamaw Medical Park Ct., Conway, SC 29526.
