She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Buckholz and Alice Buckholz; her son Matthew James Piotrowski; and her siblings, Gerard Buckholz (Betty), Thomas Buckholz and Marilyn Belluscio (Vincent).
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Piotrowski; her children, Ed Piotrowski (Cindy) of Myrtle Beach, Mike Piotrowski (Sandi) of Greer and Terry Whitehead (Chris) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Michael Piotrowski II (Mattie), Christopher Piotrowski (Erin), Megan Whitehead, William Whitehead and Jacob Piotrowski; her great grandchildren, Koen Piotrowski, Michael Piotrowski III and Violet Piotrowski; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Winn (Dennis) and Ruth Piotrowski-Schwartz (Nelson). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Carol's memory by making a donation in her name to the Horry County Chapter of Meals on Wheels.
