He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Owens, Sr. and Ethel Owens; his siblings, Bobbie, Betty, James Jr., Raymond and Joe; his nephews, Johnny, Rick Owens and Michael Campbell; and his niece Kelley Owens.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Nicholes of Anderson; his wife Patsy "Pat" Owens; his children, Lisa of Boise, Idaho., Chris (Lisa) of Conway and Brian (Shelley) of Conway; his grandchildren, Chance of Idaho, Jeffrey of Boise, Autumn of Myrtle Beach and Christopher "Chris" of Conway; his great grandchildren, Matthias and Christion Flores; and his sibling Lorence Hawes of Yuma, Arizona..
