She was predeceased by: her father Reuben Blondell Bessent; and her sister Julie Michelle Bessent. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Carteret and Dale Stephens; her mother Pamela Bessent; and her siblings, Robin Smith, Sarah Bessent (Pumpkin) and David Bessent. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
