He was predeceased by: his father Ellis Alton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wilson Hicks of Georgetown; his daughters, Wendy Hicks Parsons (Payton) of Pawleys Island and Shannon Michele Hicks of Charleston; his grandchildren, Anna Katherine Parsons of Louis Payton, Parsons, III and Ashley Elizabeth Parsons; his sister Sandra Kjerulf (Heyn) of Richmond, VA; his brother-in-law Charles Van Buren Wilson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; and his nieces, Kathleen Wilson of Jacksonville, FL and Lindsay Wilson of Raleigh, NC..
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Prince George Winyah Parish Church (300 Broad St, Georgetown, SC 29440). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Calendar Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens (1640 Pennyroyal Rd, Georgetown, SC 29440).
