He is survived by: his wife Sandra Wilson Hicks of Georgetown; his daughters, Wendy Hicks Parsons (Payton) of Pawleys Island and Shannon Michele Hicks of Charleston; his grandchildren, Anna Katherine Parsons of Louis Payton, Parsons, III and Ashley Elizabeth Parsons; his sister Sandra Kjerulf (Heyn) of Richmond, VA; his brother-in-law Charles Van Buren Wilson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; and his nieces, Kathleen Wilson of Jacksonville, FL and Lindsay Wilson of Raleigh, NC..
