He is survived by: his parents, Donald Macfie and Nora Macfie; his son Caleb Macfie; his sisters, Tamara McGlone and Elizabeth Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas McGlone and Ryan Williams. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Myrtle Beach Funeral Home (4505 Hwy 17, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
In lieu of flowers, the family will be donating personal care items in Dan's honor, continuing the spirit of kindness and helping others that was such an important part of who he was.
