He is survived by: his wife Ella Kemp Overton; his children, Edward L. Smith and Erica Giallella (Anthony); his siblings, Theodore Egger (Susan), Larry David Egger (Janet) and Karen Overton Mix (Walter); his grandchildren, E. Bobby Smith (Bree), Dalton Smith, Gavin McCumishkey, Derek McCumishkey, Keelan Smith, Colin McCumiskey, Ceciella Giallella, Claudia Giallella, Colletta Giallella, Allyson Liddell, Rylan Burley, Anthony Giallella, Joseph Giallella and Eliana Smith; his great grandchild Kinsley Smith; and his godchildren, Jennifer Mix, Joseph Mix and Eric Egger. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
