It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene A. Downey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Earl, Gladys Alcorn, Lawrence M. Downey, Sr., Lorelle Downey and Mike Dumonceau.
She is survived by: her parents, Lawrence M. Downey and Mary J. Hillman (Alcorn); her siblings, Michael Downey (Linda) of Owings, MD and Laurene "LaLee" Dumonceau of Churchton, MD; her siblings' children, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Madisyn, Andrew, Christian, Tyler and Colby; and her pets, Max and Reece.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made in Dee's name to a charity of one's choice.
