Michael Gerhardt wrote a sympathy message

“Melodie & family. I am mourning the loss of my friend. Dave & I were close during his time at Delta Lake. During the end of his ministry there, which was difficult for us, we had long talks about what he had accomplished & how God used him to bring new life to the camp. I also remember with joy how he beat me several times in racketball, sometimes 21 to 3. I am praying that the God of all comfort surrounds you with the Holy Spirit & that you experience His presence. with love, Mike Gerhardt”
