He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baxter and Gloria Baxter (Prindle); and his brother Rick. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Baxter (Westfall); his daughter Kate; his daughter-in-law Liz; his grandson August; his daughter Hannah; his brother Mark; and his sisters-in-law, Suzanne and Bonnie. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Leukemia Society, an organization Don felt strongly about.
