He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Blue and Rosalie Brown Boatwright; and his wife Dollie Todd Boatwright. He is survived by: his son Samuel Dustin Boatwright.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home (910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southern Palms Memorial Gardens.
