She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret McQueen; and her brothers, David Searcy, Darryl Searcy and Dennis Searcy. She is survived by: her father Earl Searcy (Tony Hughes); her children, Ashley Borrosco and Adam Hughes (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Aubrie Borrosco, Gage Borrosco and Fynley Hughes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
