He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Francis Allen Gibson; his wife Cynthia Poulter Gibson of Myrtle Beach; his daughter Sarah Michlovitz (Jeff) of Aiken, SC; his granddaughter Reagan Michlovitz; and his siblings, Meredith Allyn Gibson of Centenary, SC, Jenny Wall G. Cox of Murrells Inlet, SC, Francis Gene Gibson (Geraldine) of Centenary, SC and Tommy Gibson (Trish) of Marion, SC.
