With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward William Jerdon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella Glen Jerdon and Edward Walter Jerdon; and his wife Joan Hines Jerdon. He is survived by: his daughters, Georgia Jerdon, Lee Jerdon, Jo J. Hurley (Brad) and Dixie J. Singer (Alec); his grandsons, Theron and Rand Singer; his grandchild-in-law A. J. Montgomery; his sister Joan Quin; his nieces, Kathleen Quin, Carolyn Hines Morris and Stacey Hines Fitch; and his cousins, Jimmy Jerdon Jr. (Barbara), Jim Jerdon III and Chris Jerdon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home (910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
