We are sad to announce that, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 81, Eugenia A. Poythress of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmus Eugene Abrams and Olivia Larrimore Abrams; and her siblings, Deleon Abrams, Rhoda Martin and Victoria Dozier.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Poythress; her children, Cynthia Griggs (Tommy), Saundra Beckman (Calvin), Natalie Adkisson, Robert Gore (Ashley), Holly Thompson (Jamie) and Patrick Gore; her grandchildren, Ethan Griggs (Samara), Grace Godfrey (Tom), Cooper Gore, Jacob Thompson, Anna Gray Thompson, Jaxon Thompson, James Dionne and Paxton Gore; her great grandchildren, Georgie Godfrey and Lucie Griggs; her brothers, Walter Abrams and Steve Abrams; and her niece Nikki Browning. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
