With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred C. Edmunds Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, born in Parksville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Curtis Edmunds Sr. and Eunice Stone Edmunds; his wife Linda Scott Edmunds; and his sister Margaret Edmunds Dillashaw. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Edmunds (Sherry) and Frankie Edmunds; his stepsons, Rev. Bentley "Benny" Powers (Mary) and Mark Powers (Lisa); his grandchildren, Chad Edmunds (Summer), Amanda Lewis, Amanda Poole, Travis Powers and Justin Powers; his sister Kathie Collins; his pets, Benji and Buddy; his significant other Brenda Fortner; and his brother-in-law Billy Dillashaw. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
