He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelaide Hinton and Simon Maghakian; his grandson Daniel Maghakian; his siblings, Mary Petto, John, Peter and Arthur Maghakian; and his friend David Lamoureux.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Brien; his sister Helen; his brother-in-law John Cagnini; his children, Michelle Maghakian of St. Cloud, FL, Michael Maghakian of Lowell, MA, Scott Maghakian (Tina) of Stanley, ND, Ellen Ryan (John) of Westford, MA, Thomas Longo (Mark) of Palo Alto, CA and Paul Longo (Lisa) of Methuen, MA; and his friends, Pete Smith, Jimmy Bridges, Julia, Jim Parker, Sherry, Dave Scafati, Rory, Jack Seyboth, Myrtle Beach, Rosemary, Bea, Dee, Pat, Dolly, Mary, Millie, Laura and Bert. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
