He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Eugene Butler, Sr. and Allison Allen Butler; his former wife Betsy Clark Butler; and his wife Beulah Miles Butler. He is survived by: his sister Mary Butler Campbell; his uncle Francis Ray Allen; his sister-in-law Nevitte Clark Swink (Henry); his sons, Lewis Butler (Cathy) of Myrtle Beach, Gene Butler (Myla) of Myrtle Beach and Clark Butler (Piper) of Myrtle Beach; and his grandchildren, Jordan Butler of Miami, Fields Butler of Charlotte, Brooke Butler Davis (Harris) of Summerville, Heath Butler of Columbia, Nolin Butler of Columbia, Mary Chandler Butler of Charlotte, Allen Butler of Charlotte and Taylor Williams Todd (Hunter) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his family, friends.
