We bid farewell to Harvey Eugene Butler Jr. (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Harvey Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Eugene Butler, Sr. and Allison Allen Butler; his former wife Betsy Clark Butler; and his wife Beulah Miles Butler. He is survived by: his sister Mary Butler Campbell; his uncle Francis Ray Allen; his sister-in-law Nevitte Clark Swink (Henry); his sons, Lewis Butler (Cathy) of Myrtle Beach, Gene Butler (Myla) of Myrtle Beach and Clark Butler (Piper) of Myrtle Beach; and his grandchildren, Jordan Butler of Miami, Fields Butler of Charlotte, Brooke Butler Davis (Harris) of Summerville, Heath Butler of Columbia, Nolin Butler of Columbia, Mary Chandler Butler of Charlotte, Allen Butler of Charlotte and Taylor Williams Todd (Hunter) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMillan-Small Funeral Home (910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach (901 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
