He is survived by: his significant other Maria Nieves; his children, Hector J. Nieves (Nicole Nieves), Ivelyse N-Rosa (Frankie Rosa) and Jerry Nieves; his grandchildren, Tristan Rosa (Courtney Rosa), Alyssa Rosa, Noah Rosa, Christian Nieves and Abigail Nieves; his siblings, Cristobal Nieves, Maria "Nelly" Nieves and Iris Vega; and his extended family, Gustavo Rodriguez, Gladys Rodriguez and Laia. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
