She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Theodore Chen and Wen-Hui Chen; and her sister Ying. She is survived by: her husband Jesse Cheng; her sons, Robert (Solange), David (Sandy) and Michael (Nicole); and her grandchildren, Ryan (Grace), Joshua (Jordan), Michelle, Colette, Anthony, Teddy and Jesse.
During the pandemic, she read every John Grisham novel.
