He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bennett and Ada Plumbley Bennett; his wife Phyllis Carol Bennett; his son Roger Bennett; his siblings, Alma Kesler, Mabel Bragg of Ed Bennett, T. O, Darrell Bennett, Carlos Bennett, Kermit Bennett, Ernest Bennett and Harold Bennett; and his grandparents, Charlie, Nancy Plumbley, Marion and Mary Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Bennett (Heather) of Myrtle Beach, Ricky Bennett, Randy Bennett and Lisa Newton; and his close friend Gloria Todd. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six step- grandchildren.
