He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Michael Berkut and Cora Lee Berkut (Mills); and his son John Michael. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Davis); his children, Deborah Champagne (Paul) and Wayne Berkut (Lorie); his daughter-in-law Krista Berkut; his grandchildren, Patrick (Kirsti), Malia (Jack), Maile, Jordan, Olivia, Vida, Wesley and Faith; his stepgranddaughter Shelby (Brent); his sister Nancy Beck (Frank); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Nichols.
