He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shaffer and Ruth Shaffer; and his sister Judy Wooly (Shaffer). He is survived by: his wife Bonnee Shaffer (June); his children, Greg Shaffer (Maggie), Lori Penman (Scott), Shawn Larson (Kris) and Roger Larson; his sister Lynn Ewing (Joe); and his sister-in-law Barbara Pasquale. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
