He is survived by: his wife Helene; his brother John Pursel Jr. (Peg) of Batavia, NY; his children, James Pursel Jr. (Kathy Antinore) of Batavia, NY and Tina Pursel of Burlington, NC; and his grandchildren, Dylan Gossett (Anna) of Burlington, NC, James Pursel of Batavia, NY, Andrea Simmons (Will) of Batavia, NY and Ashley Manuel (Nicholas) of Batavia, NY. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
