He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray and Dorothy DiAmore Ray. He is survived by: his wife Anita Sharkey Ray; his children, James Ray, Theresa Ray (Robin Pierce) and Steven Ray; his grandchildren, Jessica Heaton, Anthony Ray and Jennifer Ray; his great grandchildren, Atticus Pott and Harper Pott; his brother Robert "Bobby" Ray (Barbara); his nieces, Cindy and Melissa; and his cousins, Frankie, Michael, Carol, Rosemary, Jeanie, Denise and Maria.
A reception will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
