He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his stepchildren, Rita White and Jay White; his siblings, Georgia Watts (Gerald), Kirby Small (Barbara), Herman Small (Sybena), Al Grice (Raquel), Bernard Grice, Levon Grice, Linda Grice, Cora Grice, Dorethia Grice and Winnie Grice; his aunt Lourise Morant; his grandchildren, Naaja Young, Deija Young, Najada White, Daria Williams, Javier White and Saori White; his siblings-in-law, Martha Gore (Thad), Mary "Cookie" Canty-Goings (Eric) and James "Beaver" Canty; and his close friends, Michael Myers, Elouise Bryant, Pat Spivey and Wilbur McCrae. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (1212 Carver St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive AME Church (1108 Carver St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577).
