He was predeceased by: his parents, Bowden Sarvis and Ada Abbott Sarvis; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Sarvis and Susan Sarvis. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Jerry Sarvis (Tammy) and Matthew Bowden Sarvis (Shawna); his grandchildren, Haley Brooke Sarvis (Paul Schmidt), Lucas Matthew Sarvis (Danielle), Hannah Sarvis, Ellery Sarvis and James Bowden Sarvis; his great grandchildren, Mylo, Luca, Riverlyn and Lucas, II; and his siblings, Bowden James Sarvis, Jr. (Sue), Larry Sarvis, Theresa Skidmore and Alonzo Sarvis.
