He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Barnhill and Kathleen Skipper Barnhill; his siblings, Eva Sue Fowler (Keith) and Terry Wayne Barnhill (Diane); and his children, James Dwayne Barnhill, Michael Johnson and Leigh Nance.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bessant Barnhill; and his children, Donna Cook (Jody), Marsha Barry (David), Sherry Krise (Russ) and Christopher Norris (Samantha).
