He was predeceased by: his son Mike Dempsey; and his parents, Lyle Dempsey and Wilma Dempsey of Idaho. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Dempsey of Myrtle Beach; his sisters, Karen and Shirley; his daughter Angeleah LeBrie of Nampa, ID; his sisters, Denise Brand (Simon) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ann Marie Bamonti (Joe) of Simpsonville, SC and Monica Vinluan (Roderick) of Ashburn, VA.; and his grandchildren, John, Jayde, Cabbie, Ireland, Jackson, Kaiya, Ian, Philip, Abigail, Riley and Reese.
