It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John M. Phillips of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin Phillips and Mary McKenna Phillips; and his son John Scott Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Phillips; his daughters, Christine Moore (Shayne) and Cynthia Mangold (John); his grandchildren, Mariah Lewis, Dave Mangold, Nick Mangold and Shayne Moore; his great grandchild Charlotte Moore; and his siblings, Edward Phillips and Violet Dolan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Carolina Forest Chapel (325 Hinson Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
