John E. Sloan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John E. Sloan (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), born in Fine, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of John E. Sloan or send a beautiful flower arrangement to the funeral service.

As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard E. Sloan, and Ina Irene Sloan, Sr. (Morehouse). He is survived by: his wife Donna Sloan of Hammond, NY; his sons, Slade Sloan, Shaun Sloan and Scott Sloan; and his siblings, Robert Sloan, Beverly Thomas, Marilyn Mackin, Janet Easton and Rita Bukowski. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526).
