It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Lauer of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Dixon Lauer and John Bernard Lauer; and his sister Patricia Stauffer. He is survived by: his wife Diane Louise Meyer; his stepchildren, Scott Joseph Lauer (Holly), Sarah Lauer Nakawatase (Brian) and Matthew Bernard Lauer; his siblings, Ruth Ann Dearybury, John Lauer, Margaret Bashioum, Michael Lauer, Kathy Curtin and Lisa Wilson; and his grandchildren, Beverly, Josefina, Saburo, Mackensie, Annabelle, Chloe, Elyce and Levi. He is also survived by his wife, children.
