He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fitzpatrick and Catherine Fitzpatrick; his siblings, Peter Fitzpatrick, Beatrice Fitzpatrick and Eileen Cronin; and his grandson Brendan Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Erika Fitzpatrick; his children, Joseph Fitzpatrick, Walter Fitzpatrick, Mary Cox (David), Ann Valenti (Mark) and Maureen Fitzpatrick; and his stepchildren, Michael Ripley (Valerie), Sandra O'Toole (Timothy) and Susan Ripley-Young (Richard). He is also survived by his seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home (885 Mantoloking Rd, Brick, NJ 08723). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Ocean County Memorial Park (1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753).
