He is survived by: his wife Dixie Woodward Hinson of Myrtle Beach; his children, Brook Walker (Kenan) of Murrells Inlet, Kaitland Hinson of Georgetown and Christopher Hinson of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Emmie, Kenan and Lauchlin of Murrells Inlet, SC; his sister Karen H. Ligon (Tom) of Georgetown, SC; his sister-in-law Kathy Hinson of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his pet Mingo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach (3810 Robert M Grissom Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
