“Laverne and I were good friends and alumnus from the Class of 1964 at South River N.J. High School. I thought she was one of the most attractive and intelligent young ladies in our class. Her words in my yearbook were more than generous about me and I have wondered in reading them, the big "what if" but it was not to be. I do extend my condolences to Laverne's friends and family on her passing and trust we will meet again in spirit after my time here is done.”
