She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Young and Betty Young; her siblings, John Patton Young and Camella Young McCord (Steve); and her nephew John Aaron Hyre.
She is survived by: her close friend Dr. John David Janney; her children, Ralph B. "Bo" Waddell and Elizabeth Patton Waddell; her grandchild Brooklyn Waddell; and her siblings, Suzanne Hyre (Dick) and G. O. Young (Marie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
