He is survived by: his parents, Julie Borst and Joe Borst (Carol); his brothers, Joe Borst and Blaine Borst (Amanda); his nieces, Addison and Avery Borst; and his fiancée Sadie DeSantis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his close group of friends.
