She was predeceased by : her parents, Zackie Knox and Evelyn Knox; her siblings, Mack Herman Knox, Dennis Knox, James Carolina, Howard Knox, Marion Franklin Knox and Frances Livingston; and her siblings-in-law, Eula M. Whittingham, Mary Knox, Maude Knox and Leroy Williams.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Dentrell Palmer and Dawnyelle Palmer; her children, Demetrius Palmer of Columbia, Dennis Palmer (Beverly) of Burgess, Mervin Palmer (Patricia) of Columbia, Andre Palmer of Severn, Elder Henry Palmer (Lisa) of Montgomery, Edsel Lovette "Love" Palmer of Burgess, Alzata Alston of Burgess and Jacqueline Palmer of Myrtle Beach; her siblings, Roger Knox (Flornell) of Conyers, Lawrence Knox of Burgess, Mary Drunell Smalls of Murrells Inlet, Blondell Williams of Murrells Inlet and Rev. Lena Carr of Jamaica Queens; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Simmons (Vivian) of Burgess, Rosa Bell Gore (Jimmy) of Myrtle Beach, Isabelle Knox of Burgess and Mary Jane Taylor (Gloris) of Arizona. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, I4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
