He is survived by: his parents, Ismail Kaya and Birsen Kaya (Gençkırlı); his brother Ozan Kaya; and his aunts, Özden Sağduyu, Burçin Erdoğanlar, Ayten Demirdöven, Fatma Çelik and Sevim Yücel.
