She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Sigsby Ward and Mary Catherine Jennerette Ward; her son Jeff Delgado; and her brother James "Siggy" Ward. She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Tanner (Paul) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her granddaughter Grace Tanner of Myrtle Beach.

The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Peggy's name to Crescent Hospice, 1516 E Hwy 501 Suite 101 Conway, SC 29526.
