He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Butson (Josh); his wife Linda; his grandchildren, Noah of Platteville, Hillary Brodie of Platteville and Jaimie Morgan (Jake) of Geneseo; his sister Shirley Fresh; his nephew Bryan Cosner (Shelly); and his great-nieces, Lisa McVicker of Des Moines, Iowa, Christine VanWyhe of Des Moines, Iowa and Leanne Baker of Des Moines, Iowa.
