We announce the death of Richard Wardman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wardman and Gladys Wardman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Wardman; his sister Lilian Richards; his children, Deeanne Shelton and Richard Wardman Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sheryl Wardman; his grandchildren, Stephanie Dorman, Kelly Wardman, Jeffrey "Jeff" Shelton and Matthew "Matt" Shelton; his grandson-in-law Lewis "Luke" Dorman; and his great grandchild Robert "Robby" Dorman.
